With anonymous FIREX-AQ items beginning to show up at AFRC it is absolutely essential that you mark all shipments: "ATTN: (Instrument name)/FIREX-AQ - Chris Jennison (661) 276-2520" and that you notify Chris Jennison (mailto:chris.jennison at nasa.gov, 661-276-2520) and Charles Irving (mailto:charles.e.irving at nasa.gov), prior to shipments arriving at AFRC, informing them of what you are shipping (equipment, gas bottles, hazardous material, etc) and what carrier or method of shipping you are using.

Unless you do this they really have no way of watching for your shipment and properly identifying who it belongs to upon arrival. This will prevent unnecessary confusion and your having to spend time looking for items that you have shipped to AFRC that have gotten “lost”.
