Dear EXPORTS survey team, 

Here is a reminder that tomorrow’s telecon slot (9AM PDT / Noon EDT) will be devoted to a discussion of survey ship issues. Use the usual NASA telecon line we’ve been using. 

In a new folder in the Google Drive (EXPORTS : Platform Working Groups : Survey Ship working group : Survey Telecon 11 Jun 2018) please find three documents we’ll discuss during the meeting:

1) Revised lab layout draft
2) Draft Epoch 1 Timeline
3) Draft sampling plan for rosette casts (includes sample count summary!)

We have a number of questions that we’d love your help with this time. 
Some things we’d like to talk about during the meeting:

- Updates on science team members

- Updates on science plan (new NSF project collecting pump samples)

- Lab layout issues (we will walk through this)
	- How should we distribute the underway sw supply (tees?) 

- Draft epoch schedule (we will walk through this)
	- Length of events ok?
	- What to do with “deep” casts?
	- for IOP and pump casts, do we have the stations correctly?
	- Is the Optics cast suite OK (remove 1 deep HPLC, switch off 500m bottle btw Th and VSF, move 95m Th to PIC/BSi bottle)?
	
- Draft sampling plan
	- Have we rendered this correctly (are you getting the samples you want)?
	- What to do with the deep casts?
	- Can we supply this document to Susanne/Ivona to prepare for sample logging/labeling

- Other issues?

Please take some time to study these new documents before the telecon, and we’re looking forward to talking with you at 9.
