Hi Quincy,
Apologies as you may have already said this, and I missed it (but others
too are asking me, so I'd like to have it straight).
1) For demob, are there specific instructions for labeling? I assume you
want things grouped on pallets; we saved some in the hold but may not be
enough.
2) It looks like the SR captain will get us to the fuel dock on the 13th
around 1000. He said it should not take that long to refuel, as we haven't
been burning that much. We should get to the pier late afternoon the 13th.
One group (Zhang) has refrigerated samples to ship. I assume that they
advised you previously. Specifics are: they would like to ship it out
Thursday so it arrives in N.D. Friday (and not over the weekend). What
should they be advised? Is it possible to get them to a FED EX down town
before it closes? They certainly could Uber there, if you could find out
location and closing time for overnight samples.
3) Jeremiah says both vans will come off Friday am and go on the Revelle
for GeoTraces.
4) The only hazardous waste I know about is 1 liter methanol from Collin
Roesler. I will take care of Winkler reagent waste; (UW will take it; this
is associated with Cassar/Roo Nicholson).
5) what else do we need to know from you, and what do you need to know from
the science party on the Ride?
Thanks, Mary Jaen
