[Exports_project_office] [ResTech] Fwd: Ship / UNOLS equipment requests for EXPORTS

Hi Lee.

It was decided in our Sept EXPORTS team meeting that the presently funded NASA PIs will NOT be needing a SeaSOAR vehicle for the survey ship (RIDE). I updated that in our revised ship needs request to Liz Brenner last month. Know that there are still proposals under consideration by both NSF and NASA that may require instrumented towed bodies. We should find out the fate of these proposals within the next month.

Best, Dave

We will still hold a formal PreCruise meeting a bit closer to the sailing dates, but we have found that sometimes with these more complex, multi-ship projects it is good to look at things a bit further out (as we have already started to do).

(A few of the techs who will likely be sailing will all be in town that time so would be good to have them on the line if possible). Let me know if there is any specific date or time that does or does not work and I can set up a conference call.
