Hi Jon:

My student submitted an abstract to the AMS annual meeting in the “Fifth Special Symposium on Tropical Meteorology and Tropical Cyclones” about Aeolus data assimilation during CEPX-AW.

Subject: [Cpex-cv-science] [EXTERNAL] AGU Fall and AMS Annual Meeting Abstract Submissions

Happy Monday team,

We’re interested in hearing about everyone's intentions for abstract submissions related to either CPEX-CV or -AW for the AGU Fall Meeting in Chicago this December and the AMS Annual Meeting in Denver in January. I have submitted an abstract to both meetings that will provide an overview of CPEX-CV science and the flights we accomplish from C.V. (with the science and instrument PIs as co-authors), especially those where we were collaborating across agencies. At AGU, the abstract was submitted to Atmospheric Convection: Processes, Dynamics, and Links to Weather and Climate and at AMS, the Symposium on Tropical Meteorology and Tropical Cyclones.

Anyone else submit an abstract for AGU, or plan to for AMS? Any other conference/meeting? Feel free to reply all here. Let us know what you intend to present on and in what session.

Thanks! Best to all,
Jon
