Congratulation for this amazing achievement!

Working with the CPEX-AW/-CV teams in the frame of our joint campaign activities in 2021 and 2022 has been a professional and scientific highlight for me, and I am sure this is shared by many of my European colleagues.

I am looking forward to continuing the excellent collaboration with you and the US science teams. We have successfully launched EarthCARE this week from Vandenberg, and following an exciting launch we had a perfectly boring early operation phase and hope that it will stay like this for the instruments’ commissioning.
