Hi All,

I realized I sent the email updates to the wrong email address “cpex-cv-all-bounces at espo.nasa.gov<mailto:cpex-cv-all-bounces at espo.nasa.gov>” so my updates did not go through to everyone so my apologies on that.

With regards to the air cargo, per my email below, we’re still on track to have the cargo start to arrive in Palmdale no earlier than the week of October 31st. I’ll keep folks updated on the movement since I know everyone is anxious to receive their stuff. As for the sea shipment, we’ve been informed that the cargo has departed on a vessel from Sal and we’re still expecting the containers to arrive to Palmdale by mid-December. Again, I’ll keep folks updated on the schedule for that.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Regards,

Hi Amin,

Not sure if you saw my updated email I sent to cpex-cv-all, but please see below for that information:
------
Hi All,

We are on schedule for the air cargo to finally depart Sal Island this Saturday, October 22nd. We expect to have the last of the cargo arrive around the first week of November if all things goes smooth with customs. I’ll keep everyone updated as to when the first round of cargo arrives in Palmdale so everyone can plan the logistics of bringing their equipment back to their home institutions. I’ll work with Wendy on the receiving and folks can coordinate with her on moving things from AFRC once their cargo arrives.

As for the sea shipment, we are also still on schedule to depart on a vessel Saturday, October 22nd and arrive back to Palmdale around mid-late December.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.

Thanks,

Vidal,

With an earliest departure date of October 22 when could we realistically expect the shipment to arrive at AFRC?

Thanks,

Amin

Just a quick update on the air shipment coming back from Sal Island.

We were informed that all air cargo leaving Sal Island is booked solid through October 21. The earliest date our cargo can depart Sal Island is October 22. We will send another update once we have more information.
