[Cpex-cv-all] **IMPORTANT REMINDER/FINAL REQUEST** CPEX Instrument Team Test Flight

Hello,

Just a friendly reminder that if you are planning on participating in the DC-8 CPEX-CV flights, you first must be medically cleared and obtain QNC (qualifying Non-Crew) Certification. This is a certification needs to be obtained in a yearly basis.

We have a large number of people that needs this certification, so we are asking that you obtain this QNC sooner rather than later.  If you haven't done so already, please submit the following information in a separate encrypted email to Jasmine Tabla by no later than Friday, June 24, 2022.


  *   Submit personal information to Jasmine Tabla jasmine.tabla at nasa.gov<mailto:jasmine.tabla at nasa.gov> (in a secured way for PII). Information required for creation of medical chart:
     *   FULL NAME, EMPLOYER, STREET ADDRESS, DATE OF BIRTH, PHONE NUMBER, EMAIL ADDRESS (must be a non-gmail account), BIOLOGICAL SEX (not gender identity, although that additional information is welcomed)
  *   Let Jasmine Tabla know if you have flown in a NASA aircraft before.
     *   If yes, which aircraft have they flown on most recently, the NASA Center that cleared them for this flight, and when the flight was.
  *   Complete the 70176, Certification of Vaccination, and Hearing Conservation Document
  *   Complete QNC course for aviation physiological training (don't need a medical chart to do so):

If you are internal to NASA, please complete on SATERN: SMA-HQ-WBT-225
*       Complete the course, and print/download the certificate of completion as a .pdf.
*       Submit this certificate of completion to the Jasmine Tabla

For those who have flown on a NASA aircraft within the 2022 calendar year, they will need to complete a new 70176 form to fly during the test flights.  Their medical clearance should still apply, but they will need to submit the above information and monitor emails to ensure AFRC has all the information that they require.

Please don't wait until the last minute to get your certification.
