[Arcsix] [EXTERNAL] ARCSIX telecon Tuesday 2pm EST

Hi all,
this is a reminder of our upcoming ARCSIX telecon (link see calendar invitation).

The agenda is as follows:
1400        Intro: Follow-up items from kickoff telecon / schedule decisions / instrument review / tasks (Sebastian/all)
1410        Flight planning software presentation and discussion (Benjamin Kirbus)
1420        Brief update surface-based observations; Climatology of broad ARCSIX target regimes (Lauren Zamora)
1430        Towards our dry run (Sebastian)
1440        Working Group tasks, discussion, organization (Patrick Taylor)
1500        Close & Extra discussion (up to ½ h) as needed

There are two decisions that we have to make quickly:

  1.  Exact timing of the campaigns (let's discuss arguments for/against moving the second one into late July/August)
  2.  Timing of the in-person STM. Possible dates until now: 8/14-16 or 8/8-10, but some have advocated for JUNE instead to have the benefit of a focused in-person event.
