All,
Please read…..

Exec Council:

· Masks no longer required on base. Still OK to wear if you want to. I’d say keep with our previous “read the room” plan.

· Still need to submit the on line form when you access the base.

· NASA Moves is over. Can still submit steps until Sept 7.

· Centerwide about how to excess personal government property (8/30)
Code S
• Wants us to continue to use CEAT tool for groups but can accept “yellow” as well as “green” rating. We should look at the tool to see how many people we can have in a huddle room without a mask.
• Going to put in an SR for a large shredding effort. Let me know if you want to join. We might consider skipping this but putting in a SR ourselves in the winter.
Code SG
• A Wildfire Research Office is going to be set up at ARC.
• Mask mandate is still in place for indoors at ARC. Access to ARC form is still in place. Still use CEAT tool for groups and close quarters.
• Trying to get the FireSense Project Office to be at ARC (if so, they want to put personnel in SGP).
• Still checking on AGU hotels over per diem.
• Make sure you Chrome and other software (i.e. Monterey 12.5.1 or Big Sur Safari 15.6.1) is up to date.
• Dr. Jessica McCarty will be the new SGE Branch Chief starting Jan 2023. Mike Falkowski is acting until she starts.

Code SGP
• Expecting SGP to be live 9/11. Note that all references to SGG will change to SGP (i.e. WBS fund codes, forms etc.)
• ARC865s – Lifecycle is working better now. Please try using this because it goes through much much faster and sends a copy to the SOC, unlike the manual process which I have to email and then follow up at each step which sometimes takes weeks. You should have all possible locations (put what can fit in locations box and rest in Purpose). Also add the justification about not taking a loaner in the Purpose box. Something like….”My official duties require that I travel with my primary NASA IT devices in order to access critical mission data during periods of limited or no network connectivity. Code SG management has agreed that our needs meet the Code S guidance as well as the exception in NPR 2810.2, Section 1.2b.”
• ARC865 signature cycle – you can change the approver but only before the user signs it. If you have a rush ARC865 and I’m not available, see if Diana Ly is in town and would be willing to sign it.
• New forms for international visitors to ARC.
• Project coordinator interviews will hopefully be next week.
• MV on travel 9/10-26 (but off 9/27&28)
• Plan to be in the office Oct 4&5 and 18&19

Have a great long weekend. Try to stay cool and hydrated.
-M
