Thank you Andrian and Michael for being the muscles for the end of deployment pack-up! You guys work fast! Hopefully we’ll hear good news of the containers and air shipment pickup later this week.

Both air and sea shipments are packed and ready to be picked up. Guarda Fiscal inspected and cleared the cargo today. All 3 sea containers were sealed. Thank you all for making packing easier.

Dear ESPO,

As I write this note, the DC8 is taking off from Sal Island, marking the conclusion of the CPEX-CV field campaign.

The campaign completed 13 science flights in a little under a month. This compressed schedule saw back to back to back flights with early morning take-offs and challenges with ATC and weather. But all the scientists are going home happy, knowing they accomplished their objective during the CPEX-CV campaign.

I want to thank you, ESPO, for your help with this campaign.

Judy and I start our trip home tonight, while Michael and Andrian will stay back for a few days to finish up the Sea container and air shipments.

Thank you all! And on to focus on IMPACTS now.
