Hello, this action is useful for all of us to perform. However, is urgently needed by Erin C., Caitlin, Katie, and Leslie because your computers show up on the block list for the Chrome vulnerability because a copy of Chrome was saved in these folders and is picked up by the Code I reporting tools (silly I know). These folders are created as a result of macOS upgrades. If curios you can read here https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/a-relocated-items-folder-mac-upgrading-macos-mchl8ae423a3/mac more about this.

Clean up procedure:

  1. Open a Finder window
  2. Command-Shit-G to open the file navigation field …

  1. Type /Users/Shared/ (or copy and paste) and hit enter. You should see something similar in the screen grab above.
  2. Select all the folder and delete them, then (important) empty the Trash …

… then light an incense stick to make sure whatever spiritual bits are left around in the ether will vanish, who knows what Code I reporting tools will pick up again (I trust that you take this last bit as what it is, my frustration with all this silliness, no need to do it)!
