All:
The PM for the upcoming RCx work in N232 wanted to confirm with us if the scheduled equipment shutdowns are acceptable for us.
The contractor is requesting to shutdown equipment for the replacement of compressors and repair of leaks as noted in their 3-week schedule. Based on their schedule, they will be working on the equipment from Nov 30th to Dec 3rd, and from Dec 7th to Dec 10th.
Domestic water won’t be affected, and the impact will primarily be on air temperature. We don’t have an estimate on how low the temperature might drop during this phase of the RCx work, but they can confidently say that there will be no heating because the units will be down for at least 4 days each week.
I’ve been advised that “as long all windows and doors are kept closed, then offices won’t be too cold since it’s already the winter season now,” but YMMV, as they say.
They will also be testing and balancing equipment on Nov 23rd from 12pm-1pm, but will not be shutting down equipment during this work.
Best,
Rodney
