Subject: Reminder: Mobile O365 Meeting, Message, & Task Apps are Here!
[Astronaut floating above Earth with the caption, "Mobile O365 Meetings, Messages, & Tasks Are Here!"]
Reminder: As noted in the announcement and instructions distributed Tuesday, April 14 – Monday, April 20, 2020, all MDM-registered iOS users now have access to new mobile O365 capabilities that will increase collaboration and communication on the go.
As an MDM-registered iOS user, your mobile account has been activated so you can now begin your device re-registration and O365 Starter Kit installation, if you wish to take advantage of these new mobile capabilities. Please note, you need to be on the NASA network to begin this process, which requires authentication with your PIV badge or Smartcard. This process takes approximately 30 minutes, but can take up to 8 hours, to complete. If you do not currently have access to a NASA laptop or computer, you may continue to use the MaaS360 mobile application for access to email.
To complete self-installation, the Mobile Apps Support Portal<https://nasa.sharepoint.com/sites/mobileapps/> has the information you need, including an overview of O365 mobile applications, a step-by-step installation guide including helpful images, and frequently asked questions. See below to begin your installation; you must be on the NASA network to access the following links:
1. Welcome to Mobile O365 Applications at NASA<https://nasa.sharepoint.com/sites/mobileapps/SitePages/Coming-Soon--Mobile-O365-Applications-at-NASA.aspx>: Short article and video clip explaining what’s in store for the NASA Mobile workforce and new mobile services
2. Instructions to Install MAM on your Mobile iOS Device<https://nasa.sharepoint.com/sites/mobileapps/SitePages/User-Instructions-&-Knowledge-Articles.aspx>: Step-by-step re-registration and app install instructions, along with pre-requisites for MDM-registered iOS users
3. MAM Release Spotlight: Meetings, Messages, & Tasks<https://nasa.sharepoint.com/sites/mobileapps/SitePages/MAM-Release-Spotlight--Meetings,-Messages,-%26-Tasks-%26-Other-Available-Apps.aspx>: An overview of the new NASA mobile O365 capabilities
1. Frequently Asked Questions<https://nasa.sharepoint.com/sites/mobileapps/SitePages/Frequently-Asked-Questions-(FAQs).aspx>: A collection of questions that have been asked over the last few months
This process is completely optional. If you do not want additional Office 365 mobile capabilities, then no action is needed on your part.
We are excited about the future of mobile collaboration at NASA, and we look forward to supporting you as we begin this journey together! If you have questions or concerns regarding O365 mobile applications, please email mam-rollout-issues at nasa.onmicrosoft.com<mailto:mam-rollout-issues at nasa.onmicrosoft.com>.
