It has come to my attention that there is some confusion about whether I am indicating that you should upgrade to Catalina. We are definitely NOT upgrading to Catalina at this time. Please continue to ignore the top section about that upgrade. If you attempt to upgrade to Catalina, software restrictions we’ve put into place SHOULD stop you—but Apple is getting more persistent.
The updates you are looking for are down below, under “More info…”

NVM, I see! You are prompted to upgrade to Catalina. Do you know how come this is not visible on my computer? I wonder what wizardry the EUSO folks use to keep it hidden.

Good morning team,
A critical security update was released for macOS. Please install it as you’re available, ideally this week.
* Check for system updates: Self Service > Check for Apple Software Updates
If you see a second blue “More info…” link, click on it to see the updates (screenshots below).
* Before starting an update:
* verify you have a current Time Machine backup (System Prefs > Time Machine > see under one of your drives something like “Backups: <date> - Today _ _ : _ _ AM”)
* ensure you can be without your computer for the next few hours (recommendation: do the updates at the end of your work day)
Thanks!! Have a wondrous Wednesday!
