So far, the only page that requires me to have Firefox is the P-Card to input new orders and reconciliations. I wrote to them asking them to fix the issue (it has been like that for years; they never did anything about it.) I received the following reply:

“The current Bankcard is not compatible with Safari. However, the new Purchase Card (P-Card) coming February 10 to replace Bankcard will not have any browser restrictions. Safari should work well for you once P-Card is introduced.”

I also suggest, of you are not an active firefox User to simple delete it from your system. I did just that.

Good morning team,

Please update your Firefox today, and then click “Submit System Inventory” in Self Service. Systems that aren’t updated will be network blocked on Tuesday 01/21, but Monday is a holiday. Network blocks are visible to center & Science directorate management, and a fuss tends to be made about the sysadmin’s (myself, Dan) inability to keep systems compliant.


  *   Everyone is affected except Brent (no Firefox) and Susan (already updated)
  *   We have requested an extension for Bernie, who has been out of the office

You will be prompted by Self Service to update, or you can open Self Service > click the bell icon (notifications, upper right) > click Update next to Firefox.
