Good evening team,

Thank you very much for all of your efforts on this front!! It’s been under closer scrutiny starting last June.

Interesting note: It’s the system administrator’s responsibility to ensure that admin users on their systems have valid EP. Dan and myself are on the hook if people are missing this, not the end users themselves.

Comprehensive instructions are available on the ESPO share.<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZXuPdtbvlOEBgiK-DWvGa7UmeF0PnkW9/view?usp=sharing>

Most members of ESPO (outside of web dev):

  1. Verify you have completed this training (valid for one year, renew annually) and copy down your completion dates:
     * Elevated Privileges on NASA Information Systems (ITS-002-09) – completed:
     * FY2019 Cybersecurity and Sensitive Unclassified Information Awareness Training (ITS-018-001) – completed:
     *   Mac OS X Security (ITS-001-09) – completed:
  2.  Go to https://nams.nasa.gov on a NASA-networked system
  3. Modify your existing ARC NON-ACES Workflow for Elevated Privileges or start a New Request
  4. Under List OS Training Course(s) and/or Certification(s) completed & the expiry date list ALL of the training from the above list and the completion or expiry date
     * Otherwise, your request may get stuck at the next approver/provisioner who cannot look up your training
  5. After you submit, it’s recommended that you set yourself a reminder 2 to 4 weeks before it will expire to renew.

ESPO team members who need access to log on to CLOUD1 and/or OZONE:

     *   Mac OS X Security (ITS-001-09) – completed:
     * IT Security for Systems Administrators - Intermediate Level (ITS-RB2-SA) – completed:
     * CompTIA Linux+ 2014 Powered by LPI: LX0-104 Security, Data, and Accessibility (SSCS_LXPT_A04_IT_ENUS) – completed:
     * IT Security for Systems Administrators - Beginning Level (ITS-RB1-SA) – completed: - please hold off on taking this while we confirm whether it’s needed
  2. Follow the above “most members of ESPO” instructions from step 2.

Thanks! Have an excellent evening,
