Hi all,
Big Picture overview: Another uneventful day at AGES+.
- Mon July 31: TEMPO planned first light tonight. No flight DC-8 and GV
- Tue Aug 1: planned flight DC-8, GV and GIII aircraft Chicago
- Wed Aug 02: TEMPO potential first measurements DC-8, GV and GIII flight planned.
- Thu Aug 03: media/VIP day in Dayton.
Aircraft:
AEROMMA:
- Tuesday Aug 1: planned Chicago flight day (11AM take-off, 8h flight)
- Wednesday Aug 2: potential flight day under TEMPO
- Thursday Aug 03: aircraft access and media/VIP day in Dayton.
STAQS:
- Tuesday Aug 1: planned Chicago flight day (GV: 8:45 take-off, 9h flight, GIII: 9:30 take-off, 5h flight, Baltimore, if high clouds)
- Wednesday Aug 2: potential flight day under TEMPO
- Thursday Aug 03: aircraft access and media/VIP day in Dayton.
CUPiDS:
Tuesday, Aug 1: Flight day, 2 flights
Wednesday, Aug 2: Start of EMMA, no flights for next 4-5 days
NEC-AQ-GHG:
- The Cessna will stay in Maryland likely for the next 2 weeks for some local flights in DC-Baltimore.
- The Cessna may go back to NY during the week of 8/14.
U. of Alabama SeaRey:
- Coordination planned with the DC-8 and GV flights.
Ground:
NYC FROG-NY:
- FROG-NY sampling extremely clean air yesterday
NYC-METS Manhattan Site:
- No significant updates.
NYC-METS Yale Coastal Site:
- No significant updates.
NYC Long-term Queens ASCENT Site:
- No significant updates.
The CIX:
- Instruments are running well.
- After high pollution at the end of last week, Toronto saw heavy rain Saturday morning leading to near-complete atmospheric washout.
- Pollution has remained low since with winds primarily from the north.
Chicago:
- Coordination planned with the DC-8 and GV flights.
