Dear Colleague,

***Thank you to those of you who have already completed the survey below. If you have not yet had a chance to fill in the required demographic questions, please do so now.***

Thank you for participating in the 2018 ACE SWG Programmatic Workshop in Silver Spring, Maryland from April 30th through May 2nd, 2018. In preparation for the workshop we are asking you to complete this on-line questionnaire:

                    https://goo.gl/forms/veyiLi1gcTUl6ppX2

This questionnaire is intended as background information to help moderators structure the different breakout sessions. Most of the questions are optional (the ones without a red *) and are included here to help you prepare for the workshop and to give you the opportunity to answer them in writing prior to the workshop, if you so desire since time will be limited during the breakout sessions. Please focus on those questions for which you feel you have something to contribute, ignore the questions that are outside your area of expertise.

Participants of the workshop are encouraged to review the 2017 Decadal Survey Report document as it will be the basis for much of the discussion in the breakout sessions. It is available from

https://www.nap.edu/catalog/24938/thriving-on-our-changing-planet-a-decadal-strategy-for-earth

Another document of relevance is the ACE 2011-2015 Progress Report, available from

https://acemission.gsfc.nasa.gov/documents/ACE_5YWP-FINAL_Redacted.pdf

I look forward seeing you at the Workshop.

Thank you,

Arlindo da Silva
On behalf of the Organizing Committee
