Members of the science team onboard the R/V Bold Horizon receive a training session on the EcoCTD instrument. The EcoCTD instrument is capable of concurrently measuring both hydrographic and bio-optical properties such as oxygen, chlorophyll fluorescence, and optical backscatter while the ship is underway.
