Thick ice and snow appears vivid red (or red-orange), while small ice crystals in high-level clouds are reddish-orange or peach.The image includes scenes aquired between 01:00 and 04:00 UTC or roughly 15 hours before we reached the survey area and was available fordownloaded shortly before takeoff.
