Mission:
OIB
Mission Summary:

20160912b

Mission: Falcon Jakobshavn Mop-up (priority: n/a)

This mopup mission consists of southwestern portions of the Thomas-Jakobshavn 01 mission, and northwestern segments of the Southwest Coastal C missions, which were obscured by clouds when those missions were flown.

This morning's clear weather over western Greenland continued this afternoon, while central and eastern Greenland were still obscured by clouds.  We elected to fly this relatively short mop-up mission, along with two medium-altitude ramp passes over Kangerlussuaq, to take full advantage of today's unusually clear weather.

All instruments performed well.

We conducted ramp passes at 10,000' and 7000'.
