NASA Aircraft Coordinate Science Flights to Measure Air Quality

During the Mid-Atlantic Gas Emissions Quantification Summer 2025 flight campaigns multiple participating aircraft covered the area shown here. Science, forecasters, flight planners and aircrews from NASA centers across the country teamed up with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and several other university and government partners to collaborate measurements over the region.
