Comments:Successful INSTRUMENT check flight - no aircraft or instrument issues. Ready for SARP student flight #1 on Monday. Highlights: •Two missed approaches – at LGB and RIV. PBL ht ~2000 ft. •Enhanced levels of NOx and O3 observed within the BL. •Attempted overpass of container ships at LGB harbor, altitude too high (~5000 ft), will adjust to fly VFR over ships on Monday. Cloud cover too thick today. •High altitude run, skirted the base of Stratosphere, ~100 ppb O3
