Hansa Hotel (web site indicates spotty availability in August -- some entire weeks are fully booked).  Price for one person is N1280 per night.  Cancellation policy seems almost American.  Requires credit card.  No shows with less than 24 hours notice get charged the first night.
Prost hotel indicates spotty availability in August -- luxury single rooms are < N1100 per night.
Hotel zum kaiser indicates spotty availability in August -- rates start at N1600 per night.  Note that per diem is about N1300 (depending on xchange rate).  Looks like a nice place.
Europa Hof is too far away for the morning treks to the swakopmund hotel (better than the Bon),  You need to send an e-mail for availability.  Prices start at N1000 for a single.
