Melt pond rebound. A nearly perfect circle is created on the land ice surface. This is likely created by a melt pond that forms on the ice and then drains partially, causing the land ice once underneath the water to rebound up to the surface, creating this perfect-like circular ‘moat’ around the ice in between.
