Updates:
- It was a pleasure to host NBC correspondent Jacob Soboroff and the Today Show crew at NASA Ames today! Thanks again to the PRISM and LaRC G-III teams!!
- The B200 flew two flights today, with DopplerScatt continuing to track “Eddy” (the new S-MODE mascot). DopplerScatt data from today will aid the team in potentially transitioning to a new target for the final week.
- Wave Gliders have begun to be driven in formation to accomplish one of the S-MODE mission objectives of measuring velocity gradients.
Aircraft plan and schedule:
- NET 1030: G-III SF#7 takeoff
- 1130: Preflight meeting for B200 SF#16
- NET 1200: MASS TO SF#9 takeoff
- NET 1300: B200 SF #16 takeoff
Ship and in situ plan:
- The Sally Ride will continue surveying the eddy and tracking floats. Floats should be recovered tomorrow and redeployed.
