Purpose of Flight:Science
Comments:The flight took off at 0752 local and landed at 1324 local (5.5 hour duration). With direction from Asheville ground ops, ER-2 flew solo through selected minor cells during first third of the flight. After a delay in their takeoff, the Citation joined with ER-2 to fly several coordinated lines. The science teams were satisfied with today's flight. All instruments operated well; one each HiWRAP and CRS faults occurred in flight and recovered quickly with reset procedure. The aircraft returned safely with no squawks reported.
