Purpose of Flight:Science
Comments:Continued intial check of DAWN system. Mission conducted to overfly ground based wind profilers at Raleigh and Charlotte, NC and Richmond, Virginia. Crew was Kagey, Wusk, Kavaya, Cowen. Data legs flown at 16,500' and 15,500'. Good weather conditions and apparent nominal operation of the instrument. Next flight scheduled for Friday and planned for an over-water wind profiling flight.
