M.T. Coffey and William Mankin, PI's. This diskette contains the preliminary analysis of the spectra from the AASE mission. The individual spectra are averaged in groups of ten, recorded sequentially. The table gives the date, time, location, and retrieved column amount for the species for which we have real time analysis. For those species for which we use two or more independent analyses based on different spectral lines, we provide the percent error. This is only the statistical error (standard error of the mean, expressed as a percentage of the column); no systematic errors are included except for any systematic bias between the lines (as is the case for ozone). North latitudes and west longitudes are positive. The column is the integrated vertical column amount above the flight level, in molecules/cm2. Data on CH4 and N2O should be used with caution as the analysis program does not take proper account of the changing altitude of the aircraft in computing the synthetic spectra. The CH4 and N2O results are probably good for altitudes above 37,000 feet, but are progressively less accurate at lower altitudes.
