<p class="MsoNormal">Things are going well at Hunter Army AirField in Savannah, GA. Brent and I arrived late on the Tuesday Jan. 7 due to some travel delays. The following day we met with our hosts, the flight ops. leads, and the folks that are in charge of
the hangar we are using. We received the ESPO shipments and met with the ramp support people that provided forklifts and helped with escorting trucks along the flight line. Next was a thorough cleaning of the office and labs spaces we are occupying and setting
up the network. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We worked through the weekend to setup the labs. On Monday Jan. 13 the ER-2 ground support team arrived as well as a majority of the support equipment and ER-2 fuel. One of the trucks carrying some of the ground support equipment was damaged
while going through a construction zone on the freeway and was delayed by two days. Fortunately, all of the equipment arrived well before the aircraft.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">On Wednesday Jan. 15 the backup LOX tank borrowed from JSC arrived, which turns out is needed since the primary tank shipped from AFRC has some issues. The ER-2 arrived safely at Hunter at 17:30. The following day was instrument access
and maintenance. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The first science flight was attempted on Saturday Jan. 18, but was cut short due to a hydraulic failure. Fortunately, it was a relatively easy fix and the AC generator has been replaced. Brent has departed Savannah.

<p class="MsoNormal">Katie arrived from Wallops on Sunday and will take over. My planned departure is on Sunday Jan. 26.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The current plan is the have both aircrafts fly Saturday and Sunday.
