WB-57 Flight Report for 7/19/02 1. The WB-57F flew a very successful mission today to characterize cloud properties and the UT/LS near modest Florida convective systems. The flight included sampling the WB-57F contrail near the tropopause. A maximum-altitude leg was flown at 58 kft, with much of the flight near the tropopause at approximately 48 kft. There were no fail lights during the mission. 2. Tomorrow (Saturday, 20 July) is a no-fly day. Aircraft access will be from 0900 to 1200. 3. There will be a CRYSTAL-FACE science meeting tomorrow at 1300, and a WB-57F team meeting at 1600. If you have a few plots of interesting data to present, please bring your vugraphs with you to the meeting. Marty and Dave
